Lifeline Tasmania has set up a new service for Tasmanians, specifically to deal with unprecedented demand for information, advice and support because of the coronavirus pandemic, called A Tasmanian Lifeline. 

Drug and alcohol treatment service

Alcohol and Drug Services aim to minimize the harm caused by the use of alcohol and other drugs.

Early intervention support for vulnerable families with children and young people (0-18) who are showing early signs of or at risk of developing mental illness.

Provide information and support to anyone affected by a family member or significant other using alcohol or other drugs, including children. We welcome all types of families.

Free and confidential personal and family counselling for problem gambling

The Reconnect program uses community-based early intervention services to assist young people aged 12 to 18 years who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, and their families.

Support service for people (and their family and other key support people) who have attempted suicide and who are not receiving case management from Mental Health Services (Public),

The Australian Plants Society Tasmania Inc. is made up of people interested in the propagation, cultivation and conservation of plants native to Australia, especially those found in our state. The North West Group is one of three in Tasmania, others being based in Hobart and Launceston.

Baptcare Mental Health TasConnect is a free phoneline supporting Tasmanians with mental health concerns to identify which psychosocial service is best suited and provide them with accurate information on how that service can be accessed.

Our group line dances at the Ulverstone Rowing Club. We welcome all ages and genders. $5.00 per session.  We are a non profit community group and excess funds are donated to local charities each year.

C U @ Home is a program offered by the Child Health and Parenting Service for young first-time parents 15-19 years of age.

Providing health and home care, Care Forward is Tasmanian, locally-owned, operating State-wide, since 1999 -- specialising in services designed to support the independence of older Tasmanians and people living with chronic conditions or disabilities.

The Central Coast Adult Day Centre caters for older (65+), socially isolated people, as well as younger (18+) disabled adults. They provide group and individual lifestyle and leisure assessments and programs to maintain and enhance the quality of life for clients attending.

The Central Coast Community Shed offers a safe and social place to come down, meet new people and make some good gear out of wood!

We are a community film society, providing monthly entertainment for locals.

The Chats Program aims to help you to improve your health, happiness and confidence and reduce any feelings of loneliness or isolation.

Providing counselling, support and health/practical parenting information for families, growth/development assessments for children and referral to other health professionals as required in consultation with the family.
