Australian Breastfeeding Assoc. – Central Coast Group

This local support group offers 'Zoom info and chats' on the first Friday of the month 12 noon - 1.30pm except for April due to Easter (see Facebook page for link) as well as in-person events on the third Friday of the month - e.g. 'Pram walk and talks' in summer or 'info and chats' at the Multipurpose Room, no. 34 Alexandra Road in Ulverstone (Aboriginal Health Service) from 10.30am to 12.30pm. We also hold occasional extra events e.g. desserts nights!

All get-togethers have at least one trained volunteer breastfeeding counsellor present to answer questions and/or discuss any problems you may be having. We talk about all things from basc breastfeeding tips, expressing and storing breastmilk, supply issues, returning to work, weaning, introducing solids, nighttime parenting and much more.

Everyone is welcome, whether you are pregnant, fully breastfeeding, partially breastfeeding, expressing or bottle-feeding. Babies, children and support people are also welcome. Find us on Facebook for the latest event details.
